How to play Sansad Showdown on PC or laptop
- Open fightkaro.com in Chrome, Safari or any modern browser. There is nothing to download and no login.
- On your first visit a satire notice appears in Hindi and English. Read it and carry on.
- On the fighter select screen, use ←→ to change your fighter and ↑↓ to change the CPU fighter. You can also tap a face: first your fighter (1P), then the CPU's. There is also a RANDOM option in the grid.
- Press T to change the stage and 1, 2 or 3 to set the CPU difficulty.
- Press Enter to start the fight.
To fight a friend instead of the CPU, use the PLAY WITH A FRIEND option. Room codes and sharing are explained on the multiplayer page.
The video comes from a player's channel and may show an older version of the game. The keys on this page were checked against the live game.
How to block
There is no block button. You block by holding the direction away from your opponent. If they stand on your right, hold A or ←. If they stand on your left, hold D or →. On a phone, pull the stick back.
When nothing is coming at you, holding back simply walks you backwards. Every fighter walks backwards slower than forwards, so backing off is always slower than closing in. MitraMan, for example, has a forward walk speed of 2.2 and a backward speed of 1.7.
Special moves
Every fighter has the same three special inputs. Only the move names change from fighter to fighter.
- →J: special 1 (forward and punch)
- →K: special 2 (forward and kick)
- ↓K: sweep (down and kick)
Here is what each move is called for every character:
| Fighter | →J | →K | ↓K sweep | Super |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MitraMan | Demonetization Palm | Surprise Strike | GST Sweep | Mitra Chakra |
| Yatra Boy | Roadshow Uppercut | Lambi Yatra Kick | Yatra Sweep | Aloo Se Sona |
| Deedee | Chappal Slap | Padayatra Kick | Maidan Sweep | Jadu Hobe |
| Tariff Taau | Executive Order | Bada Deal Kick | Deal Sweep | Tariff Tsunami |
| Dozer Dada | Bulldozer Punch | Demolition Kick | Dozer Sweep | Dozer Ka Dhamaka |
| Toll Man | Toll Tax Uppercut | Flyover Kick | Speed Breaker Sweep | Gaddha Blast |
| Sutti Babu | Money Follows Punch | Superstar Step Kick | Filmy Sweep | Time Is Money |
| Rail Raja | Signal Palm | Express Kick | Patri Sweep | Rail Raja Express |
| Mbapu | Shanti Palm | Flying Mbapu | Zameen Sweep | Manch Chhodo |
Full move lists, including grabs, uppercuts and roundhouses, are on the characters page.
Combos
The game recognises six button strings. Press them in quick order:
- JJJ
- JJK
- JKK
- KK
- ↓JJ
- ↓JK
↓J means hold down and press punch, so the last two strings start with a crouching punch. Each fighter also has a named combo finisher, such as MitraMan's Lamba Bhashan Combo. Start with JJJ, since it uses only one button.
Super and the SHAKTI meter
The SHAKTI meter fills as you fight. When it is full, press L or Space (or tap SUPER on a phone) to fire your Super.
Each Super is an animated attack worth 30% damage. The one exception is boss Mbapu on Hard against the CPU, whose Super is worth 40%. Keep an eye on the meter during each round.
Mobile touch controls
On a phone, Sansad Showdown is played in landscape. Hold your phone upright and the game shows "ROTATE YOUR PHONE" and "SWIPE UP FOR FULL SCREEN".
- Left side: a virtual stick. Push to move, push up to jump, push down to crouch, hold back to block.
- Right side: PUNCH, KICK, GRAB and SUPER buttons.
- Specials: →PUNCH, →KICK and ↓KICK for the sweep.
- Combos: PPP, PPK, PKK and KK, where P is PUNCH and K is KICK.
There is no app. You can add the game to your home screen from the browser instead; the APK and mobile page shows how.
How a match works
Each round lasts 60 seconds and a match is best of three, so the first fighter to win two rounds takes it. Losing round one is not the end. Every fighter does the same damage, so pick the one you enjoy.
Stages
Press T on the select screen to switch between the three stages:
- Sansad Bhavan: Parliament at sunset (default stage; Diwali Edition decorations while the Diwali mode is on)
- Jantar Mantar: Protest ground, New Delhi
- Desi Sadak: Gali, thela aur traffic
CPU difficulty
There are three levels: Easy, Normal and Hard. Normal is the default. These are the CPU settings from the game's own code:
| Level | Block chance | Reaction (lower is faster) | Aggression | Super chance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | 0.18 | 0.42 | 0.45 | 0.35 |
| Normal (default) | 0.45 | 0.26 | 0.65 | 0.7 |
| Hard | 0.75 | 0.14 | 0.8 | 1 |
In plain words:
- Easy blocks fewer than one attack in five, reacts slowly and is the least likely to use its Super. Good for learning the keys.
- Normal blocks a little under half the time, reacts faster, attacks more and is twice as likely as Easy to go for its Super.
- Hard blocks three attacks in four, has a reaction value one third of Easy's, is the most aggressive and has the maximum Super chance. Boss Mbapu on Hard also has double health and heals after 3 seconds without being hit.
Beginner tips
- Start on Easy until blocking and the three specials feel automatic, then move to Normal.
- Pick any fighter you like. Damage is the same for everyone; the main differences are walk speed (Deedee is the fastest at 2.4, Tariff Taau the slowest at 2.1) and Mbapu's slightly higher jump.
- Hold back whenever the CPU attacks. Expect a lot of blocked hits on Hard, where the CPU blocks three attacks in four.
- Watch the SHAKTI meter and fire your Super when it is full. It is worth 30% damage.
- Need a break? Esc opens the Chai Break pause screen. M turns the music on or off and N mutes the game.
- If keys stop responding or the game will not load, try the fixes on the not working page.
Checked against the live game on 7 November 2026.
