How to beat Mbapu in Sansad Showdown
To beat Mbapu in Sansad Showdown, keep hitting him with short punch and kick strings, hold back to block when he attacks, and fire Nirmala's Budget (press B, or tap 📕 BUDGET on a phone) once he is low. On Hard, never let 3 seconds pass without landing a hit, or he starts to heal.
Mbapu is the game's final boss and is unlocked from the start. Beat him in a CPU match and the portal opens with a Chapter 2 teaser.

Who is Mbapu?
Mbapu is the final boss of Sansad Showdown (FightKaro). He fights for Shanti Akhada, and on the select screen he sits in the grid with a BOSS label next to RANDOM. If you were looking for the game's secret boss, this is him. His name is often typed as "Mbappu".
Mbapu is widely read by players and media as a caricature of Mahatma Gandhi. The game itself does not name any real person. Like the rest of the roster, he is a cartoon in a satire game.
His intro line is "Shant raho, phir haaro." and his win line is "Shanti se bada koi mukka nahi.". For the Diwali Special he also has "Diwali ki shubhkaamnayein, beta." and "Andhere pe roshni ki jeet.". He jumps higher than any other fighter (8.0 against 7.6 for everyone else), so watch for him jumping in.
How to unlock Mbapu (you no longer need to)
In the current build Mbapu is selectable from the start, so there is nothing to unlock. Older guides and videos say you must win 3 matches in a row first. That rule is still in the game's code but switched off, so ignore it.
You can play as Mbapu like any other fighter, or pick him as your CPU opponent. Tap your fighter's face first, then the CPU's. On a keyboard, ← → changes your fighter, ↑ ↓ changes the CPU, 1 2 3 set the CPU difficulty and Enter starts the fight.
How the boss fight works on each difficulty
The match uses the normal rules: 60-second rounds, best of three. What changes is Mbapu himself, and on Hard the change is big.
| Boss rule | Easy | Normal | Hard |
|---|---|---|---|
| Health | Standard | Standard | 2× |
| Power | Standard | Standard | 1.15× |
| Super (Manch Chhodo) | 30% | 30% | 40% |
| Heals when not hit | No | No | After 3 seconds |
| Nirmala's Budget for you | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| CPU block chance | 18% | 45% | 75% |
The block chance applies to every CPU fighter on that difficulty, not only Mbapu. The Hard CPU is also the most aggressive and the most likely to use its Super.
How to use the Budget
The game calls this power Nirmala's Budget. In a CPU fight against boss Mbapu you get an extra Budget meter that fills during the fight. When it is full, press B on a keyboard or tap the 📕 BUDGET button on a phone. The screen shows "📕 BUDGET PESH HAI! Ab lagega tax".
Two limits matter:
- You get it once per match, not once per round.
- It only works while Mbapu has more than 1 HP. Once he is down to 1 HP you can no longer use it.
So treat it as your closer. Use it when he is low but not finished, ideally in the round that decides the match.
Mbapu's moves and Super
His specials use the same inputs as every other fighter.
| Move | In-game name |
|---|---|
| Jab | Shanti Jab |
| Cross | Sabar Cross |
| Kick | No-Fight Kick |
| Uppercut | Mbapu Uppercut |
| Roundhouse | Shant Roundhouse |
| Combo finisher | Shanti Toofan Spin |
| Low jab | Chhota Sabak Jab |
| Sweep (↓ Kick) | Zameen Sweep |
| Special 1 (→ Punch) | Shanti Palm |
| Special 2 (→ Kick) | Flying Mbapu |
| Grab | Great Patki |
| Super (L / Space) | Manch Chhodo |
His Super, Manch Chhodo, is the move to fear. He rises high, spins a giant wheel of light, wraps you in cloth inside a glittering storm and throws you across the stage. It normally does 30% damage; the Hard boss version does 40%.
How to beat Mbapu on Normal
Start here. On Normal he has standard health, no healing and a 30% Super, so a clean, patient game wins.
- Pick a fighter you are comfortable with. Every fighter does the same damage, so there is no best pick. If you like speed, Deedee walks forward fastest.
- Block first. Hold the direction away from Mbapu to block. When he drops in from one of his high jumps or starts a string, block it and hit back straight after.
- Hit in strings. The Normal CPU blocks about 45% of the time, so expect close to half your attacks to hit his guard. Keep attacking with short strings such as JJK or JKK and the specials →J and →K.
- Spend your SHAKTI. When your meter is full, press L or Space for your own Super. It does 30% damage.
- Close with the Budget. When he is low, press B before he drops to 1 HP, then keep attacking to finish the round.
How to beat Mbapu on Hard mode
Hard is a different fight: double health, 15% more power, a 40% Super, a CPU that blocks about three attacks in four, and healing whenever he goes 3 seconds without taking a hit.
- Never give him 3 quiet seconds. The healing is what beats most attempts, so stay close and keep landing something, even a single jab, instead of backing off to wait for a big opening. Quick JJJ strings keep the hits coming.
- Mix up your attacks. With a 75% block chance, repeating one string mostly hits his guard. Switch between punches, kicks, the low sweep ↓K and the grab I (or J and K together) to give yourself more chances to get through.
- Respect Manch Chhodo. The Hard CPU is the most likely to fire its Super, and his takes 40%. Do not mash buttons when you are low on health. Hold back to block and wait for a safe moment to hit back.
- Watch the clock. Rounds last only 60 seconds and he has double health, so every wasted second is damage you never deal.
- Finish with your Super and the Budget. Fire your Super whenever it is full, since it keeps the pressure on. Save the Budget for when he is low, and use it before he drops to 1 HP. Because he heals when you stop, never use either one and then back away.
If Hard feels impossible, practise on Normal first. You learn his jumps and his Super there without the healing.

Can you beat Mbapu without attacking?
Some players look for a "non-violence" win, where you defeat Mbapu without hitting him. The game's saved data has a counter for peace wins, but nothing in the current build increases it, and no guaranteed no-attack win could be confirmed from the code. For now, the only confirmed way to beat him is to fight.
What happens after you beat Mbapu
Beating Mbapu in a CPU match opens the portal. A cutscene plays and ends with "COMING SOON / CHAPTER 2". Back on the title screen, the banner changes from "Beat Mbapu to open the portal 🔒" to "The portal is open · Chapter 2 coming soon".
Your progress is saved in your browser, so the portal stays open on that phone or computer. A different browser, or clearing the site's data, starts you fresh. Chapter 2 has no release date yet; the Chapter 2 page tracks what is known. For other hidden bits, see the secrets and easter eggs.
