Sansad Showdown easter eggs and hidden details
The main Sansad Showdown easter eggs are The Daily Jumla, a fake newspaper that sums up your match, joke news tickers such as the stray cow near Vijay Chowk, and the Chai Break pause screen. The Diwali Special adds mithai sellers in the crowd and a Diwali card you can share.
The biggest secret is the portal: beat the boss Mbapu in a CPU match and it opens with a Chapter 2 teaser.
Opens fightkaro.com, the official game, in a new tab. This site is a fan guide, not the developer.
The Daily Jumla, the fake newspaper
After a match, Sansad Showdown shows a satirical fake newspaper called "THE DAILY JUMLA" that sums up the fight you just played.
Joke tickers and the stray cow
The game also has short ticker lines written like breaking news. These are in the current build, and like The Daily Jumla they are in-game satirical text, not real news:
- "Stray cow spotted near Vijay Chowk. Fighters alerted."
- "Breaking: Nothing happened. More details at 9 PM."
- "Reminder: this is a satire game. None of this is real news."
Two made-up news channels
Match commentary comes from two fictional channels: Shor Sharma, the anchor of Breaking Bakwas, and Tweety Trollwala of Troll Army.
Chai Break, the pause screen
Press Esc during a fight and the screen reads "CHAI BREAK ☕" with the line "Sansad adjourned till further notice."
Chai turns up in other places too. The optional tip button for the developer normally reads "Chai pilao · Support", and a tip line says "Aapki chai se Chapter 2 paas aata hai".
Diwali Special extras
The Diwali Special is switched on by default right now. The title reads "THE GREAT KURSI FIGHT · DIWALI SPECIAL", and the Sansad Bhavan stage gets a Diwali Edition badge, fireworks and diyas. Look out for these smaller touches:
- Mithai sellers. They appear in the crowd with the line "Mithai le lo! Kaju katli!"
- Diwali card. A "Diwali card bhejo" button on the title screen makes a greeting card you can share.
- Festive tip button. The support button changes to "Diwali pe mithai khilao".
- New lines for everyone. Every fighter has a Diwali intro and win line. Toll Man wins with "Expressway jaisi Diwali, bina toll ke!" and Rail Raja with "Ladoo khao, agli gaadi se ghar jao!".
All nine fighters' Diwali lines are on the updates page.
The Budget move in the Mbapu fight
When you fight the boss Mbapu against the CPU, a Budget meter fills during the match. The game calls this move Nirmala's Budget. Once the meter is full, press B on a keyboard or tap 📕 BUDGET on a phone, and the screen announces "📕 BUDGET PESH HAI! Ab lagega tax".
You get it once per match, and only while Mbapu has more than 1 HP. Online matches do not have it, because the boss rules only apply against the CPU. The Mbapu guide explains when to use it.
The portal and the Chapter 2 teaser
The biggest secret in Sansad Showdown is the portal. Until you win, the title banner says "Beat Mbapu to open the portal 🔒". Beat Mbapu in a CPU match and a cutscene plays that ends with "COMING SOON / CHAPTER 2". After that the banner reads "The portal is open · Chapter 2 coming soon".
Your progress is saved in the browser, so the open portal shows only in the browser where you won. Chapter 2 has no release date yet; see what is known about Chapter 2.
Hidden details in the game files
Not every Sansad Showdown easter egg shows up on screen. These come from the game's own code and settings:
- Same damage for everyone. Every fighter has the same damage multiplier, so no character is set up to hit harder than another.
- Mbapu jumps higher. His jump value is 8.0; every other fighter has 7.6.
- Walk speed differs. Deedee walks forward fastest (2.4) and Tariff Taau slowest (2.1).
- A bigger boss Super. Supers do 30% damage, but Mbapu's Manch Chhodo does 40% when he is the boss on Hard.
- A leftover unlock rule. The old "win 3 matches in a row" rule for Mbapu is still in the code, but the current build unlocks him from the start.
- Room codes leave out I, L, O, 0 and 1. Online room codes are 4 characters, and lower case works too. See playing with a friend.
- Select screen shortcuts. On a keyboard, T changes the stage and 1, 2 or 3 sets CPU difficulty before you press Enter.
Secrets we could not confirm
You may hear about a secret "non-violence" win against Mbapu. The saved game data does have a counter called peaceWins, but nothing in the current build increases it, and we could not confirm a guaranteed peaceful win.
All of it is satire
On your first visit the game shows a satire notice in Hindi and English. It says the game is parody, not connected to any leader, party, government body or news organisation. The Daily Jumla, tickers and channels are part of that joke.
Checked against the live game on 7 November 2026.
